After a long process and a reclamation carried out by Herambiente, a site in the suburban town has been brought back to optimal conditions.
The Hera Group extends the scope of its activities in Tuscany and consolidates its leadership in environmental services for businesses by acquiring the Serravalle Pistoiese landfill and the associated liquid waste treatment plant.
On Saturday 29th June in Cordenons (Vinchiaruzzo), in the province of Pordenone, a new plant for the treatment of non-hazardous waste was inaugurated. It was conceived and built on the basis of the most advanced experiences in this sector at a national level.
It was 1st July 2009 when Herambiente was founded. It brings the expertise and the rich equipment of the Hera Group into a new reality able to better grasp the development prospects of the sector, characterized by a high fragmentation of operators and a plant infrastructure insufficient to meet the needs of the country.
From 1st July, Waste Recycling, a subsidiary of Herambiente, was merged by incorporation with Herambiente Servizi Industriali (Hasi), which became the largest Italian company dedicated to the management of industrial waste with registered offices in Bologna and three commercial offices in Ravenna, Padua and Pisa.
Workplace safety is one of Herambiente's priority issues, on which it has always invested heavily, through technical and plant adjustments, implementation of certified management systems and analysis of accidents.
