For the first time in occasion of the 6th International Conference on Final Sinks, the 5th MatER Conference entitled "Recovery & final sinks for an effective waste management" will be held from 7th to 9th June 2021 at the Politecnico di Milano in Piacenza. The combination of the two events is linked by the objectives of both conferences. The MatER conference aims to provide a complete scenario of technologies and policies for the recovery of materials and energy from waste, with a view to sustainable waste management. The Final Sinks conference deals with different topics concerning the management of material flows and stocks from the point of view of resource and waste management.
The event is organized by LEAP - Energy and Environment Laboratory Piacenza with the scientific support of DICA (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering) and the Energy Department of Politecnico di Milano and sponsored by Utilitalia. Among the partners there are also Herambiente and Hestambiente.
