Overview
The Voltana storage, selection, treatment and recovery plant is equipped with 4 treatment lines: an automated selection line with a final pressing section; an automated selection line for glass based waste; a pressing line; a grinding line for bulky and wood waste with a mobile grinder. The plant treats non hazardous solid municipal waste from the separate waste collection of mono and multi material dry fractions collected by the municipalities and non hazardous special waste coming from craft and industrial production activities.

Sulla copertura del fabbricato è installato un impianto fotovoltaico semi integrato di 2.341 m². L'impianto fotovoltaico ha una potenza di 331,2 kWp e fornisce una quantità di energia di circa il 60 % del fabbisogno annuale del sito.
