The warehouse of the Storage Centre has an area of about 3,000 m2; the waste is stored in well defined compartmentalised areas and authorised by the Integrated Environmental Authorisation (IEA) Decree of the Regional Board of Veneto (D.G.R.V.) no. 109 of 30/12/2010 and subsequent integration no. 40 of 19/06/2012.
Specific waste control procedures are applied both when contracts are drawn up with customers (approval phase) and when disposals are received at the centre. Waste may only be accepted at the plant if it is accompanied by documents describing its specific baseline characterisation.
After the control phase, waste is stored in the appropriate storage areas, waiting to undergo recovery or disposal operations. It is subsequently sent to external Italian and foreign final disposal plants or authorised landfills.
