Overview
The plant in Resana, Treviso, deals with the storage and treatment of special hazardous and non hazardous solid and muddy waste that gets sorted in order for the material to be recovered and compacted.
The platform consists of:
Storage section for hazardous and non hazardous waste in packages Ground unloading and sorting of non hazardous bulk waste Bulk waste storage sector Packaging sector of waste that cannot be sent for recovery.
The waste received in the plant may undergo sorting and consolidation aimed at the recovery of material and the production of a semi finished product to be sent to the Maniago plant.

The platform consists of the following sections:
Following the approval procedure of the waste carried out during contract definition with customers, specific control procedures for incoming materials are implemented at the plant.
During the approval phase, the methods of packaging and handling of the materials that the customer will commit to the plant are defined. Any waste collected by Recycla is collected through closed packaging or boxes with a lid in order to limit odour emissions or the creation of dangerous vapours.
The waste accepted at the plant is always subjected to control during unloading. Samples are collected and then subjected to analysis at the Maniago centre if the waste must be approved again at the platform. After the control phase, waste is labelled and stored in packages in the designated acceptance areas while bulk waste can be unloaded to get sorted.

Waste in drums, containers, bins or bulk is stored in separate areas depending on the different characteristics in terms of danger and reactivity in order to ensure maximum safety for the entire structure.
All warehouses are equipped with a fire extinguishing system.
Waste storage takes place exclusively inside warehouses with reinforced concrete flooring equipped with floor waterproofing systems.

Waste that gets packed can be sorted within a specific sector of the warehouse where it is stored. The waste can then be delivered to the Maniago centre.
The bulk material is sorted inside an open warehouse in order to separate the fractions destined for material recovery. The resulting material gets pressed.

The various fractions obtained from the sorting of the bulk material are pressed before final shipment. The system consists of a press, fed by a roller conveyor belt in the pit, and it can produce bales with a width of 110 cm, a height of 80 cm and a variable length up to a maximum of 220 cm.
The production capacity of the press is equal to about 6 tonnes per hour of pressed material.
