Herambiente will be present at the MatER Conference in Piacenza

Herambiente brings its experience in carbon fiber recycling, CO2 capture at waste-to-energy plants and plastic regeneration
From June 9 to 11, 2025, the 7th edition of the MatER conference will be held in Piacenza. The conference aims to provide a rigorous and objective representation of technologies and policies for the recovery of materials and energy from waste, thus contributing to the transition towards sustainable waste management. The event is organized with the contribution of LEAP - Laboratorio Energia Ambiente Piacenza and the scientific support of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Energy of the Politecnico di Milano.
Herambiente will participate in the conference with three events:
1. Daniele Biondi, Carbon Fiber Plant Manager for Fib3r (Herambiente), June 10, 10:20-10:45 a.m., Room B, with a presentation entitled “Industrial plant for the recycling of carbon fiber polymer composite waste materials.”
2. Stefano Tondini, Head of Waste-to-Energy Plants at Herambiente, June 10, 4:50-5:20 p.m., Room A, with a presentation entitled “The CO2 capture plant at the Ferrara plant.”
3. Technical visit to the Aliplast plastic processing plant in Borgolavezzaro (NO), June 11, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
