Overview
The plant, located at Via Statale Nord 162 in Mirandola (MO), is structured to treat special waste delivered in bulk or in packages in compliance with DM 05/02/98. Such waste consists of cement, mixed waste from construction/demolition activities, and asphalt mix. The Mirandola plant carries out waste recovery through the process of sorting and grading, grinding and/or screening. The plant has a processing capacity of 315,000 tons per year. After treatment, the waste ceases to be classified as waste and becomes secondary raw materials.

The main equipment consists of a jaw crusher, equipped with a magnetic separator, and a screen.
The soil (170504) is stored for subsequent recovery at other facilities or external operations, while the remaining inert waste is crushed and screened to produce CE-marked products for external use, allowing it to be classified as End of Waste and thus no longer subject to waste regulations, thereby being fully recovered. The so-called “Secondary Raw Materials” produced in this way are essentially aggregates used for road fill and subbase.
