Ecomondo 2025 with the SCART Super Robots, heroes of the environment
18/11/2025
At the Herambiente stand and at the South entrance of the fair, seven 4-metre-tall robots made from production waste from Lamborghini supercars were the stars of Ecomondo 2025. Among the SCART art works the totem dedicated to the “RAEE-START” campaign for the recovery of small electronic waste.

Held from 4 to 7 November in Rimini, Ecomondo 2025 was much more than a trade fair: it represented a key moment of discussion, innovation and collaboration for the circular economy sector.
For four days, Herambiente shared projects, results and its vision of ecological transition with customers, partners and stakeholders: concrete, industrial, built day after day in the field to transform waste management into new resources for the industry. At the Group’s stand, the company presented services and technologies to enhance waste throughout the supply chain: from regulatory consulting to traceability, from treatment to material and energy recovery, with customised paths for different sectors and tailored to customers' ESG challenges. Herambiente managers explained to visitors how circular models can generate value for businesses and local areas through state-of-the-art facilities, industrial synergies, partnerships, and thanks to the integrated system of all the Group's companies and subsidiaries: Herambiente Servizi Industriali, Aliplast, Recycla, Vallortigara, TRS Ecology and ACR di Reggiani Albertino.
In addition, Herambiente also actively contributed to the debate with its own speakers at several conferences and talks, sharing concrete experiences and valuable projects related to the key themes of circularity, innovation and sustainable development.
The SCART Super Robots
Three pairs of SCART Super Robots made the exhibition space even more distinctive: born from the partnership with Lucca Crea and the creative vision of cartoonists Giuseppe Camuncoli and Giacomo Gheduzzi, they were created by students from the Academies of Fine Arts in Florence, Ravenna and POLI.design (by Politecnico di Milano) using scraps from Lamborghini supercars. A seventh Super Robot was displayed at the South entrance of the exhibition centre, alongside a V12 HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) Revuelto Lamborghini, symbolising the synergy between art, industry and sustainability. The robots were created using scrap materials from the production lines of the Sant'Agata Bolognese-based manufacturer, such as bonnets, side panels, spoilers, dashboards, bumpers, headlights and other components. Each pair, consisting of a female and a male character, embodies a mission related to a specific element of nature: air, earth and water. The seventh is dedicated to energy. The environmental champions have created an iconic installation that promotes the culture of reuse with the expressive power of design and imagination. The initiative is part of a collaboration between the Hera Group and the leading car manufacturer aimed at promoting the circular economy in the management and valorisation of industrial waste.
"RAEE-START: turn on change” to raise awareness about recycling
At Ecomondo 2025, the collaboration between the trade fair and the Hera Group also gave birth to the campaign ‘RAEE-START: turn on change’, to raise awareness among citizens and businesses about the correct recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and invite them to play an active role in the circular economy by promoting responsible behaviour. At the South entrance of the Rimini Exhibition Centre, visitors were able to actively participate by disposing of their small WEEE in a spectacular installation. The work, designed by SCART, was a six-metre by three-metre wall made of recycled rPET supplied by Aliplast and covered with end-of-life electronic devices. Its silver surfaces symbolise the rebirth of materials and the possibility of giving resources a second life.
A successful edition
In addition to the thousands of visitors to the fair, the Herambiente stand also welcomed institutional representatives such as the Minister for the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, the Undersecretary of State at the MASE Claudio Barbaro, the President of the “Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into illegal activities related to the waste cycle and other environmental and agri-food offences” Jacopo Morrone, the President of the Emilia-Romagna Region Michele de Pascale, the Councillor for the Environment of Friuli-Venezia Giulia Fabio Scoccimarro and the Mayor of Imola Marco Panieri, confirming how essential dialogue between the public and private sectors is in order to tackle the environmental challenges that lie ahead together.
It was an intense four days shared with the people of the Group: colleagues who added value to every meeting, describing with professionalism and passion the work that Herambiente and its subsidiaries carry out every day.
See you in 2026, to give even more strength, together, to the transition we want to achieve!
