Herambiente at IFAT Munich 2026: innovation, circular economy and the SCART Super Robots, defenders of the Earth
28/04/2026
From 4 to 7 May 2026, Herambiente will be in Munich for the 60th edition of IFAT, the leading international platform dedicated to environmental technologies. On display there will be also two “guardians of the Earth” from the SCART project, made from waste materials coming from the production lines of the Automobili Lamborghini plant in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Herambiente will be taking part for the first time in IFAT Munich 2026, the global benchmark event for innovation in environmental technologies, scheduled from 4 to 7 May 2026 at Messe München, in the edition marking the 60th anniversary of the event.
At the heart of this international hub, Herambiente will showcase its integrated approach to sustainable waste management and the development of solutions geared towards the circular economy, with a focus on innovation, collaboration and value creation from recovered resources.
To enhance its presence at the fair, visitors to the Herambiente stand will also be able to meet two icons of the SCART project, the Hera Group’s artistic workshop which, for almost thirty years, has been transforming waste materials into works of art and forms of expression capable of raising awareness of sustainability: the Super Robots Gea Stone and Jotun Forge. These are two “guardians of the earth” who, in the project’s narrative concept, use their strength to regenerate and cleanse the soil.
Created by comic book artists Giuseppe Camuncoli and Giacomo Gheduzzi, and subsequently brought to life by students at POLI.DESIGN (founded by the Politecnico di Milano), their structures are made from waste materials sourced from the production lines of the Sant’Agata Bolognese plant, serving as a tangible example of how creativity, industry and environmental responsibility can converge into a powerful and immediate message.
During IFAT Munich 2026, the Herambiente team will be on hand at the Group’s stand (Hall A6, Booth 450) to present solutions and projects, establish new partnerships and engage with international stakeholders on pathways towards increasingly circular models.
