Progress of Activities Multifunctional Platform
The project was authorized following the conclusion of the PAUR (Unified Regional Authorization Procedure), with a Regional Executive Council resolution dated June 26, published in the BURERT on July 19, 2023. The regulatory process was complex, involving an AIA (Integrated Environmental Authorization), an EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), and an urban planning variance. The PAUR includes environmental compensation measures in a high value area within the "Cà Giansanti" Classe Pine Forest: a planting and re naturalization intervention (over 800 specimens of stone pine and holm oak), preceded by preparatory works such as the removal and demolition of old decommissioned structures containing asbestos/cement sheets. The construction of the platform has been awarded through three main contract lots for a total value of approximately €35 million (with space reserved for local businesses).
