ACR S.p.A. will acquire the Gerotto EAR business unit from Gerotto Federico S.r.l., which specializes in the remediation and regeneration of confined sites using high-tech machinery. The transaction also strengthens the commercial partnership between the two companies, with a focus on the petrochemical, purification, and cement industries, as well as on “post-disaster” and emergency response activities.

The partnership between Herambiente (Hera Group), Curti and the University of Bologna for the valorisation of carbon fibre waste through thermal regeneration has been rewarded for its commitment to identifying new circular solutions to replace the obsolete landfill disposal of certain types of waste that are complex to manage, such as composite materials, which from today will instead return to the value chain of the companies producing the same waste.
